In October 2011 we received an enquiry from eastern Europe from a major monolithics manufacturer. Their client had requested, along with other refurbishment work, the full reline of their reformer roof which was originally an M H Detrick Co Ltd Suspended ‘Island’ design.
This roof was originally supplied by M H Detrick Co Ltd back in 1971 and was reported to be still in good, though worn condition. However, due to the nature of the works being carried out and the mandatory replacement of the reformer tubes it had been decided to replace the roof. Having the original drawings in our records, allowed us to prepare a detailed quotation without delay, an order was placed in March 2012 and the whole package (including engineering and installation drawings) was supplied on time in the following July.
